Wagashi (Japanese Sweets): Beauty You Can Eat
My first attempt at making Wagashi (和菓子). Wagashi is the word for traditional Japanese sweets. When you crave it, and if it’s difficult to get where you live, you just need to learn how to make it yourself!
These are made with bean paste. Can you believe it? And as you could imagine, it requires a lot of time, effort, and skill.
I love having Wagashi, but this experience made me have more appreciation for the Wagashi creators, and also made me not to eat them so quick even though they are really small!
What do you think? It’s kind of too beautiful to eat, right? But then I have a taste and I can’t not eat it. 😉
